NOAA Weather Radio Dedication
for the St. Ansgar IA Transmitter


On January 31st, 2001 a dedication for a new NOAA Weather Radio (NWR) station, KXI-68 (162.450 Mhz) was held in Osage, IA. This new NWR station serves northern Iowa and extreme southern Minnesota, including the Mason City, Clear Lake, Austin, and Albert Lea communities. This dedication was part of a larger NWR expansion project for all of the state of Iowa.
