A temperature statistic that most Denverites pay close attention to is the number of 90 degree days that occur in a single season. The season usually begins in May and ends in September. The earliest 90 degree day occurred on April 30th 1992 and the latest 90 degree day occurred on October 1st 1892. The table below list the top 16 90 degree occurrences in a single season. As you can see, 2007 was high on the list but not near enough to get to the top spot which was 61 occurrences in 2000.
Interesting to note, 5 of the top 6 accumulations of 90 degree days occurred since the year 2000.
