THE NORTHEAST PLAINS HAVE A CHANCE OF SNOW SHOWERS BEHIND THE FRONT LATE TONIGHT...THEN ISOLATED SHOWERS OVER THE PALMER DIVIDE DURING THE DAY SUNDAY. LONG TERM DISCUSSION...SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY...MOISTURE WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE ACROSS COLORADO IN STRONG NORTHWEST FLOW ALOFT THROUGH MONDAY. SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW WILL CONTINUE IN THE MOUNTAINS WITH STRONG WINDS ON THE PLAINS. A RIDGE WILL BUILD OVER THE WEST ON TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY BRINGING DRYING...BUT ALSO A THREAT OF HIGH WINDS ALONG THE EAST SLOPES OF THE FRONT RANGE ON TUESDAY.
