WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS AND SHIFT EASTWARD ACROSS THE PLAINS DURING THE AFTERNOON. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THE MORE INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS TODAY...WHICH WILL RAISE CONCERNS FOR FLASH FLOODING ON AREA BURN SCARS...PARTICULARLY WALDO. STORMS WILL BE MOVING RAPIDLY OFF TO THE NORTHEAST WHICH SHOULD LIMIT RAINFALL AMOUNTS SOME FOR ALL BUT THE STRONGER STORMS.
