Natural Hazards Outlooks

The Climate Prediction Center offers information on hazardous weather, such as, extremes in temperature, drought, severe weather, flooding, and fire danger for the next ten days. The hazards assessment provides a general view of upcoming potential serious weather events. In the Fall NOAA provides a Winter Outlook to prepare the nation for the upcoming season with information on temperature and precipitation. From late Spring to early Fall NOAA provides a hurricane outlook for the present year detailing the number and severity of tropical storms expected this year.
