When It Snows, Let Us Know!

We need Snowspotters and Rain reporters

Interested in Becoming a Northland Weather Observer?

We are expanding our Weather Observing Network.  We have a reliable group of volunteer observers who provide timely reports of Snow and Rain amounts.
This information not only helps forecasters issue more accurate forecasts and warnings; it also provides community officials with details needed to make crucial weather-related decisions.

The Best way to get involved is through the

Community Cooperative Rain, Hail, and Snow (CoCoRaHS) Network

Contact the program leader at steve.gohde@noaa.gov  or visit our Winter Weather Page for more details.
