The Gales of November 27th 2001 |

These photos of hte Duluth Lakewalk were taken by Michael Stewart, Meteorologist in Charge of the National Weather Service office in Duluth, Minnesota. The pictures depict some of the scenes around Canal Park and the Lakewalk the day after the damaging waves pushed along the lakeshore.
This day also brought significant snowfall to parts of northern Wisconsin, with some areas reporting 20 inches from November 26th through the 27th of 2001. |
