Marine Forecast

There are two sources for the Marine Forecasts for the Great Lakes. The first one is off of our Weather Now Pages. The Marine page has links for the latest Open Lake Forecasts and NearShore Forecast.

Great Lakes Water Levels

Great Lakes Water Level Homepage from the Detroit District of the Army Corps of Engineers.
Preliminary Water Level Data collected by the National Ocean Service (NOS) water level stations. This is a form that allows you to collect 6 minute data for various sites around the Great Lakes.

Water Temperatures

Great Lakes Surface Temperatures from the Great Lakes Environmental Laboratory (GLERL). This is a GIF image that shows water temperatures for all the Great Lakes.

Great Lakes Weather Conditions

Coast Guard Observations
C-MAN and Buoy observations from the National Data Buoy Center (NDBC). These pages allows you to click on C-MAN and buoy sites in the Great Lakes and get the last 24 hours of observations.
