The average temperature for the year was 52.7 degrees or 1.5 degrees below the normal of 54.2 degrees. This ranks as the 8th coldest year on record (out of 120 years). Eight months had below normal temperatures, with 4 months of near average, and no months of above average temperatures.

Highest temperature: 97 degrees on August 3rd and 4th.  

Lowest temperature: 4 degrees below zero on January 19th.

The warmest daily average temperature was 87 degrees on August 3rd with a high of 97 degrees and a low of 76 degrees, and on August 4th with a high of 97 degrees and a low of 77 degrees.

The coldest daily average temperature was 4 degrees on January 19th with a high of 11 and a low of 4 degrees below zero.

The lowest afternoon high temperature was 10 degrees on December 21st.  

The highest overnight low temperature was 77 degrees on August 4th.

The greatest rainfall in a 24 hour period was 3.86 inches on September 12th-13th.

There were three daily rainfall records exceeded on February 5th, March 17th, and December 27th.

There were 53 days with thunderstorms, normal is also 53.

The total snowfall for the 2007-2008 winter season was 24.1 inches, with the calendar year snowfall of 21.4 inches. Normal is 20.1 inches.

 The greatest monthly snow total in this calendar year was 8.9 inches in February. 

There was one daily snowfall record tied on April 12th.

The average temperature for the year was 50.8 degrees or 3.2 degrees below the normal of 54.0 degrees. This ranks as the 2nd coldest year on record (out of 100 years, though it should be noted several years of missing data exist at St Joseph). Six months had below normal temperatures, with six months of near average, and no months of above average temperatures.

Highest temperature: 96 degrees on August 4th.  

Lowest temperature: 12 degrees below zero on January 19th.

The warmest daily average temperature was 86 degrees on August 4th with a high of 96 degrees and a low of 76 degrees.

The coldest daily average temperature was 1 degree below zero on January 19th with a high of 11 and a low of 12 degrees below zero.

The lowest afternoon high temperature was 7 degrees on December 21st.  

The highest overnight low temperature was 76 degrees on August 3rd and 4th. 

For the entire year, one record high and one record low were exceeded. On September 9th a record low of 42 degrees was set (old record was 46 in 1999). A record high of 64 degrees was recorded on December 26th (old record was 59 in 1988).

The total precipitation for the year was 38.79 inches, or 3.55 inches above normal. This was the 31st wettest year on record (though again, several years of missing data have skewed this ranking). Three months had below normal precipitation, five months were above, and four months were near average. The longest stretch with no measurable precipitation was 14 days, from November 15th through November 28th. 

The highest monthly total was 6.57 inches in September. The lowest monthly total was 0.86 of an inch recorded in January. 

The greatest rainfall in a 24 hour period was 2.92 inches on September 12th-13th.

One daily rainfall record was exceeded on October 22nd (0.84 inches broke the old record of 0.77 inches in 1983).

There were 67 days with thunderstorms.

The total snowfall for the 2007-2008 winter season was 31.0 inches, with the calendar year snowfall of 22.8 inches.

 The greatest monthly snow total in this calendar year was 11.1 inches in February.

The average wind velocity for the year was 8.5 mph with the prevailing wind direction from the south. The highest wind gust for the year was 76 mph from the west on June 8th.
