Severe Thunderstorms Move Across Kansas City

Severe Storms developed over Miami and Linn Counties in Kansas and moved through the Kansas City metro area on Saturday, June 15, 2013. These storms produced damaging winds and very heavy rain. In addition, there were some reports of hail, but the main issue was wind damage and flooding. The storms moved through the area from around 3:15pm CDT through around sunset.
