Event Overview

Severe thunderstorms moved through the area on the 4th of July.  Several tornadoes were reported and many reports of large hail.  The combination of heat, humidity and a frontal boundary were responsible for the severe weather.  An EF2 tornado was confirmed in Cass county, along with at least 4 other tornadoes.
