Event Overview

Severe thunderstorms moved through southeast North Dakota into west central Minnesota during the late afternoon into the evening on July 10, 2011.  Significant wind damage was reported along the path of these severe thunderstorms.  Most of the damage was consistent with straight line winds, and additional data is still being gathered.
