...CORRECTED FOR TOTAL PRECIPITATION...

THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE FOR SEPTEMBER 2014 WAS SLIGHTLY ABOVE 
NORMAL...YET WELL WITHIN THE EXPECTED CLIMATOLOGICAL RANGE. THE 
MONTHLY AVERAGE WAS 60.8 DEGREES OR 1.7 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL. WHILE 
A MILDER THAN AVERAGE MONTH IT WAS NOT EVEN IN THE TOP 25 WARMEST. A 
RECORD HIGH MINIMUM TEMPERATURE OF 64 DEGREES OCCURRED ON SEPTEMBER 
27. THE OLD RECORD WAS 61 DEGREES SET BACK IN 1987.
 
PRECIPITATION FOR SEPTEMBER WAS ESSENTIALLY NORMAL. 2.45 INCHES OF 
RAIN FELL IN SEPTEMBER 2014 AND WAS 0.15 INCHES BELOW NORMAL. 
AGAIN...THIS IS WITHIN THE EXPECTED CLIMATOLOGICAL RANGE. NO RECORD 
RAINFALLS OCCURRED IN SEPTEMBER.
