SEPTEMBER 2014 WAS SLIGHTLY WARMER THAN. THE MONTHLY AVERAGE WAS 
59.5 DEGREES OR 2.6 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL. DUE TO THE RELATIVELY 
SHORT PERIOD OF RECORD FOR THE AIRPORT THIS WAS THE 11TH WARMEST.

RECORD HIGH MINIMUM TEMPERATURES OF 61 DEGREES OCCURRED ON SEPTEMBER 
26 AND 27. 

FOR THE 26TH...THE OLD RECORD WAS 58 DEGREES SET BACK IN 1950. 
FOR THE 27TH...THE OLD RECORD WAS 55 DEGREES SET BACK IN 1997.
 
PRECIPITATION FOR SEPTEMBER WAS BELOW NORMAL. 1.29 INCHES OF RAIN 
FELL IN SEPTEMBER AND WAS 0.76 INCHES BELOW NORMAL. DESPITE BEING 
BELOW THE MEAN...THIS IS WELL WITHIN THE EXPECTED CLIMATOLOGICAL 
RANGE OF NORMAL FOR SEPTEMBER.
