Summary

November was another month with a wide range of conditions across the region, ranging from very dry in the north to very wet in the south.

Flooding

There was no flooding in the region during November.

General Hydrologic Information

Temperatures in November were much above normal across the region. Average temperatures for the month were generally 4 to 6 degrees above the 30 year average.
 
Precipitation for the month ranged from around 50 percent of normal in the north to over 200 percent of normal in the south. Precipitation totals were around 0.4 inch below normal to 1.2 inches above normal.
 
Soil Moisture conditions at the end of November were above normal across the region, with surpluses of around 1 inch in the south and 3 inches in the north. The National Drought Monitor indicated abnormally dry conditions persisting in the extreme western areas, with near normal conditions across the rest of the region.
