2001 NWS/Media Golf Outing
Once again, the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls held its annual NWS/Media Golf challenge at the Northern Links Golf Course. September 27, 2001, was a fantastic day weather wise! Temperatures in the middle 70s, light winds, and plenty of sun. Amazing it was so nice since we organized the event! All the participants stated they had a wonderful time and are looking forward to next year.
The pictures shown below are only a snapshot of what took place on the course. There were many times I wished I had a video camera! This event provides a way for the National Weather Service staff and the media to get to know each other better in a more informal setting. It is hoped this event will continue to grow through the years!!
