The combination of a nearly stalled frontal boundary, abnormal amounts of moisture contained within the atmosphere, and several upper level disturbances - combined to produce copious amounts of rain across parts of south central Nebraska and north central Kansas during the evening of August 6th continuing through the overnight hours of August 7th. The tables below are indicative of the maximum and minimum temperatures, as well as the amounts of rainfall reported at automated stations and our cooperative weather observing sites - in the 24 hour period ending at 700 AM CDT on Tuesday, August 7th.

The tables below indicate maximum and minimum temperatures and precipitation reports from across
south central Nebraska and north central Kansas.
