An upper low pressure system crossed the central plains on Saturday, May 10th bringing widespread rainfall across south central Nebraska, with lesser amounts in North Central Kansas.  A strong cold front swept through during the day, switching winds to the northwest with wind speeds increasing to over 30 mph, and wind gusts over 40 mph.
