A strong storm system brought damaging winds and large hail to portions of south central Nebraska and north central Kansas during the mid to late afternoon.  One of the stronger storms moved across Rooks County Kansas.  The combination of the large hail and strong winds created a 10 to 15 mile wide path from near Palco to Woodston Kansas where numerous roofs were damaged and windows were blown out.  A summary of the reports is listed below.
