Peak Wind Gusts Across South Central Nebraska - October 30th, 2006
  
Gusty Northwest to North Winds blasted across Nebraska on Monday, October 30th, in the wake of a strong cold front which moved through the Northern and Central Plains.

Day time high temperatures were reached by 1030 AM, as Grand Island warmed to 66 degrees...and Hastings 69 degrees before the frontal passage occurred.  The tables below indicate the location, time of occurrence if known and peak wind gust speeds from selected locations.
