The combination of a mid level disturbance, ample atmospheric moisture and a frontal boundary located across northern Kansas, brought prodigious rainfall to much of south central Nebraska and north central Kansas on Saturday evening - which continued into Sunday morning.  These heavy rains prompted the issuance of several flash flood warnings and advisories as a result. The heavy rain began over south central Nebraska on Saturday, July 28th and continued through the day on Sunday, July 29th.

The tables below indicate maximum and minimum temperatures and precipitation reports from across
south central Nebraska and north central Kansas.
