Thunderstorms developed across portions of south central Nebraska and north central Kansas on Monday afternoon and evening, September 13, 2010, continuing well into the early morning hours on the 14th.  Severe weather was reported from several of these storms, with large hail and gusty thunderstorm winds primarily being reported.

Baseball size hail was reported at Wilcox in Kearney County, NE, as well as 1 mile west of Ragan in Harlan County, NE.  These two hail reports were the largest hail reports received from south central Nebraska and north central Kansas, although there were also several reports of quarter size hail, strong thunderstorm wind gusts, and locally heavy rainfall from across the area.  Below is a list of storm reports received at the National Weather Service of Hastings, Nebraska...
