Confirmed Tornado in Buffalo County, NE

Storm damage report from September 15, 2006

The National Weather Service in Hastings, Nebraska has confirmed that a weak tornado briefly touched down and caused damage in Buffalo County, Nebraska on the evening of Friday, September 15, 2006. The touchdown was near the intersection of 160th Road and Ravenna Road, or about 12 miles to the south of Ravenna, Nebraska. The tornado was on the ground long enough to level a farm building and roll debris from the leveled structure down an adjacent hill.
