
"Voice of the National Weather Service"
The National Weather Service Forecast Office in Grand Junction, Colorado operates eight All-Hazards NOAA Weather Radio (NWR) transmitters across western Colorado and eastern Utah. These transmitters broadcast official National Weather Service warnings, watches, forecasts and other hazard information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The broadcasts can be heard on special weather radios (available at many retail stores), or on a typical police/fire scanner or marine radio.
