On June 17, 2003 the employees at WFO Goodland enjoyed a special FISH! Day. Scott Mentzer, MIC, presented the employees with the FUNdamentals of "the FISH! philosophy".FISH! is a fun way to look at the personal dynamics of the workplace. FISH! serves as a catalyst to evaluate the attitude, morale, commitment and energy we bring to the workplace. Videos and materials for the program are provided to NWS employees by the National Weather Service Training Center.
Following the program, employees enjoyed a lunch of special fish burgers (beef burgers with special "fish picks"), Kansas caviar (baked beans), sea weed (tossed salad) and fish cookies and cake.
