2003 Spotter Attendance By County

Another successful year of Spotter Training has come to an end.  This year the Goodland Weather Office has trained 609 Basic Spotters and 119 Advanced Spotters.  Each year, from March to Mid-May, the Goodland Weather Service Office offers Spotter Classes to the general public in each of the counties listed below.  If you missed out of this years classes, please try to attend next year.  The Weather Spotter is vital in helping the National Weather Service meet it's mission statement, "to provide weather and flood warnings, public forecasts and advisories for all the United States, its territories, and adjacent waters and ocean areas, primarily for the protection of life and property."
