Observers Recognized for 25 years of Service

Lee Arnold, along with his son John Arnold, received their 25 year  length of service award April 22, 2003. Larry Boyd, Coop Program
Manager from the National Weather Service in Goodland, Kansas presented the 25 year award plaque thanking them for their dedication to the program.
 

"For the past 25 years Lee and John Arnold have taken their valuable time each and every morning to provide the National Weather Service
with critical weather data," Mr. Boyd said. "The data they provide is then archived at the National Climatic Data Center in Asheville, North
Carolina where all the world can obtain the data. I can't stress enough, how much the National Weather Service appreciates Lee and John's
efforts. Lee and John provide a valuable service for us. Congratulations to them on their length of service award."
