Bird City Tornado

Bird City, KS. Tornado on 06/29/00. This twister was quite impressive and could be seen from the Goodland NWS. Photos by Mike Lammers, NWS Meteorologist.

The actual location of the tornado was about 10 miles south of Bird City and it was on the ground slightly over 20 minutes.  The twister caused very little damage. Photos by Mike Lammers
