THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE IN 2007 WAS 51.0 DEGREES. ALTHOUGH THIS WAS
VERY CLOSE TO THE 30-YEAR NORMAL OF 50.9 DEGREES...IT WAS THE 10TH
CONSECUTIVE YEAR OF ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES.

THE YEARLY PRECIPITATION AMOUNT OF 15.10 INCHES WAS NEARLY 5 INCHES
BELOW NORMAL...AND NEARLY 10 INCHES BELOW WHAT FELL IN 2006. IT MANY
RESPECTS IT WAS SIMILAR TO THE DRY YEARS THAT WERE EXPERIENCED IN
THE EARLY PART OF THE 2000S. IN FACT...7 OUT OF THE PAST 10 YEARS
HAVE SEEN BELOW NORMAL PRECIPITATION.
