.STATE AND LOCAL ACTIONS...

NO KNOWN ACTIONS AT THIS TIME.

.CLIMATE SUMMARY...

APRIL PRECIPITATION VARIED ACROSS THE TRI STATE AREA...BUT SOME
IMPROVEMENT WAS NOTED. MOST OF THE PRECIPITATION FELL NORTH OF
THE INTERSTATE...PARTICULARLY IN SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA WHERE 2 TO 3
INCHES WAS COMMON. SOUTH OF THE INTERSTATE PRECIPITATION BECAME MORE
SPOTTY...WITH SOUTHERN WALLACE...LOGAN...AND THOMAS COUNTIES FAIRING
THE BEST. BY FAR THE WORST AREA IN TERMS OF PRECIPITATION WAS
EASTERN COLORADO. LESS THAN AN INCH FELL IN CHEYENNE COUNTY...AND IT
WAS NOT MUCH BETTER IN KIT CARSON COUNTY. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS IN
YUMA COUNTY MAY HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO SOME LOCAL WET SPOTS LATE IN THE
MONTH...BUT OVERALL APRIL WAS MUCH BELOW NORMAL IN EASTERN COLORADO.
