Storm Report (Summer or Winter)


If you are a witness to any of the following during a storm occurring within our (Goodland) County Warning Area please feel free to send us a report of what occurred. Thank you for your help!

  1. 3/4" diameter (dime or penny size) hail or larger.

  2. Wind speeds in excess of 58 mph (please indicate how this was measured).

  3. A tornado spotted on the ground.

  4. Flash flooding, especially if water is flowing over a major road or highway.

  5. Wind damage 

  6. Heavy snow resulting in 6 inches of snow in 12 hours, or 8 inches in 24 hours

  7. 1/4 inch Ice accumulations or greater

The National Weather Service in Goodland asks for you name and contact information so that we may contact you for clarification of your report.  These fields may be left blank if you wish not to provide this information.  Providing such information is completely voluntary.
