Severe Weather Spotter Training Schedule

The 2013 spotter training schedule is set. Make sure to attend a class near you. All classes are open to the public--you can attend any class in any county--unless otherwise noted. Please check the schedule the day of or near the day of training for any late changes or cancellations.

The two hour long seminar covers severe weather identification, reporting procedures, and safety. The classes are free. Some of the classes listed are given via live web seminar.

In addition to the live classes, on-line self-study spotter training courses are available, which can be taken in lieu of the classes below. For more information about these official NWS spotter courses, visit our Storm Spotter web page: www.weather.gov/grb/skywarn
