Severe Weather Spotter Training Schedule

The 2015 spotter training schedule is slowly coming together. More spring classes will be added during the next few weeks. Classes are open to the public--you can attend any class in any county--unless otherwise noted. Please check the schedule the day of training for any late changes or cancellations.

The 90 minute seminar covers severe weather identification, reporting procedures, and safety. The classes are free.

In addition to the live classes, on-line self-study spotter training courses are available, which can be taken in lieu of the classes below. For more information about these official NWS spotter courses, or the spotter program in general, visit our Storm Spotter web page: www.weather.gov/grb/skywarn
