All Time Record Highs for October Set! (10/2/2006)

...ALL-TIME RECORD HIGHS FOR THE MONTH OF OCTOBER SET...

Wichita and Russell Kansas both set all-time record highs for the month of October.

The high temperature at Wichita soared to 97 degrees on Sunday October 1st. This is the warmest temperature ever recorded in October at the Wichita Mid-Continent Airport.

On Tuesday October 3rd the temperature in Russell Kansas reached 99 degrees. The previous warmest October temperature for Russell was 96 degrees.
