Snowy December Continues! (12/28/2007)

Another snow storm stuck much of Kansas on Thursday night December 27th-28th. This storm produced a swatch of 3 to 5 inch snows along a Hutchinson to McPherson to Marion line. North and south of this band, 1 to 3 inch snows were common. Image 1 is a map showing where the heaviest snow fell.

So far in December Wichita has received 10.6 inches of snow. This makes December 2007 the 7th snowiest December on record for Wichita. Click here for additional monthly snowfall records.
