New Weather Radio Transmitter in Southern Kansas! (4/21/2008)

A new NOAA weather radio transmitter has been installed at Sharon Kansas, which is in the extreme Northeast corner of Barber County. This new weather radio transmitter will broadcast on a frequency of 162.400 MHZ and will cover portions of South Central Kansas and North Central Oklahoma.

Below is a list of Kansas counties the Sharon Transmitter will be alerted for:
Harper
Barber
Kingman
Reno
Pratt


Below is a list of Oklahoma counties the Sharon Transmitter will be alerted for:
Grant
Woods
Alfalfa
