5.6 Magnitude Earthquake Rocks Oklahoma

At 10:53pm on Saturday, November 5th, 2011, a 5.6 magnitude earthquake occurred with an epicenter near Prague, Oklahoma or 71 miles ENE of Oklahoma City.  This earthquake was measured to be ~3 miles deep and was felt over much of Oklahoma, southern Kansas, northern Texas, Missouri, and Arkansas.  For more information about this earthquake or general earthquake information, please see the United States Geological Survey's (USGS) website.
