A snowy end to 2012...

Winter weather
impacts much of Kansas on New Years Eve 2012
| A fast
moving upper level disturbance moved out across the plains on Monday
December 31st. This system brought widespread snowfall to most of Kansas.
The highest amounts occurred over far western Kansas where 6 to 10 inches
of snow fell. Meanwhile over Central Kansas 2 to 5 inches of snowfall
was reported. |
