Flooding streak along the Illinois River comes to a close...

The long stretch of flooding along the Illinois River has finally come to an end...for now, The information below, courtesy of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, outlines the number of consecutive days that locations from Henry to Beardstown were above flood. All 4 locations received "Top 5" honors...with a new record set at Peoria of three consecutive months in flood in the spring of 2009.
