Details:
 
  1. 6/27/1951:  This tornado originally touched down 3 miles south of Emden in north central Logan County, then moved eastward before lifting 3 miles northeast of Waynesville.  At least a half dozen farms were destroyed along the track.
  2. 8/21/1955:  Moved across the south side of Clinton.  On the ground for 2 miles.
  3. 4/3/1956:  Touched down about 5 miles west-southwest of Weldon, and passed through De Land in northern Piatt County.  On the ground for 10 miles.
  4. 6/4/1960:  This was part of a longer track tornado, which touched down just northwest of Bloomington, and finally lifted southwest of Champaign near Sadorus.  The De Witt County portion was 7 miles in length, with a maximum width of 33 yards. 
  5. 4/15/1968:  Touched down just south of Waynesville, and moved 25 miles due east, skirting the north edge of Wapella, before lifting along the south edge of Farmer City.  Four people were killed, and 50 were injured.
  6. 6/8/1981:  Touched down in Farmer City, causing $25,000 in damage.
  7. 4/30/1986:  Brief touchdown in Kenney, causing $25,000 in damage.
  8. 4/11/1987: This tornado touched down in Kenney, and moved eastward to De Land, in northern Piatt County.  It was on the ground for 24 miles in De Witt County.
  9. 4/29/1991:  Brief touchdown in Weldon; no property damage reported.
  10. 8/16/1993:  Brief touchdown 1 mile north of Wapella, causing no damage.
  11. 5/9/1995:  Touched down 2 miles north of Wapella, and moved northeast to Le Roy, in McLean County.  It caused $150,000 property damage along its 13 mile path.
  12. 8/18/2001:  Formed along the leading edge of downburst winds, just northwest of De Witt.  It moved southeast and lifted while it was in town.  Some property damage and tree damage was reported.
  13. 4/4/2003:  Brief touchdown in an open field, 1 mile southwest of Wapella.
  14. 4/4/2003:  Brief touchdown 2 miles west-northwest of De Witt.  Injured 3 horses.
  15. 5/28/2003:  This tornado moved in from Logan County, west of Midland City.  It caused some minor damage between town and the county line.  It was on the ground for 1 mile in De Witt County.
  16. 5/30/2003:  This tornado also moved in from Logan County.  It tracked for 3 miles in De Witt County, from 1 mile northwest of Midland City to Hallsville. t damaged some trees and power lines.
  17. 5/30/2003:  This tornado formed as the previously mentioned tornado dissipated.  From Storm Data:   As the first tornado was weakening on the west side of Hallsville another more significant tornado developed on the east side of town. It quickly intensified to F2 intensity, destroying two homes and causing damage to several others. In one home, a family of four sought shelter in the hallway. They were briefly trapped after the walls collapsed around them, but only sustained minor injuries. The tornado maintained its intensity and traveled to the southeast towards the south side of Clinton. As it approached US 51 numerous homes and businesses were severely damaged. Seven businesses were destroyed. The tornado finally weakened and lifted one mile south of Lane. Numerous trees, power lines and power poles were blown down as well. No other injuries were reported.
  18. 6/11/2003:  Brief touchdown in an open field 3 miles southwest of Weldon.
  19. 6/11/2003:  Brief touchdown 1 mile north of Weldon, damaging some power lines.
  20. 3/12/2006:  This tornado moved in from Macon County, traveling 1 mile in De Witt County before lifting 6 miles southeast of Kenney.  Blew down numerous trees and damaged several outbuildings.  Maximum width of the tornado was 600 yards.
  21. 4/2/2006:  Brief touchdown in an open field 2 miles north-northeast of Weldon.
  22. 8/19/2009:  This tornado touched down 1 mile northwest of Midland City, and mvoed northeast for 2 miles.  Damage was limited to trees and crops.
  23. 6/5/2010:  Touched down in Logan County, 4 miles west-southwest of Kenney, and was on the ground for 6 miles before lifting just southwest of Rowell in De Witt County.  It blew down a barn, and damaged two machine sheds and a trailer.
