WARREN BAIRD RACKS UP 30 YEARS OF OUTSTANDING SERVICE

Warren has diligently taken precipitation observations, temperature and humidity readings, evaporation levels and soil temperature values as well as maintaining a Fischer and Porter rain gage for the last 30 years. Warren’s distinguished co-op career includes the Holm and Jefferson awards

 

When asked how long an observation takes Warren replied “About 15 to 30 minutes, depending on conditions, but I can get it done much faster on those cold blustery days.”
