Submission Guidelines

 

If you would like to submit a photo to our gallery, you must attach the picture to an email. We will not use links to pictures posted elsewhere on the internet.

By submitting your photos, you understand that your image is being released into the public domain.  This means that your photo may be downloaded, copied, and used by others.
Thus, when submitting pictures, your email must include express, written permission in your email stating that you are the rightful owner of the image,  and that you release the image into the public domain.


When sending digital images, submission of the following information is voluntary.  However, without this information, the image(s) may not be accepted:

  1. Photographer's name and email address
  2. Location of photo
  3. Date of photo

Not all submissions will be used. The use of any images or videos by the NWS does not constitute an endorsement by the NWS of any information, products, or services.
