Sherfick receives 20 years of service award

Gene Sherfick of rural Shoals Indiana received a 20 year length of Service award on April 13th, 2010.  Gene started reporting precipitation and river data to the National Weather Service (NWS) in 1990 and became an official cooperative weather observer in 2005 along with his son Larry.

Presenting the award was Ed Terrell (R), Observing Program Leader NWS Indianapolis Indiana.
