Indiana Tornado Days 1950-2010

Indiana tornadoes that have occurred in the state 1950-2010. This also considers all tornadoes that developed and crossed into the state. Indiana tornadoes by month, 1950-2010. This also considers all tornadoes that developed and crossed into the state. Tornado Days are days when a tornado was recorded in Indiana. The state averaged 10 tornado days per year in the middle 1950s and 1970s. Averages have dropped slightly to around 7 days per year in the 2000s.

Indiana tornadoes by month, 1980-2010. This also considers all tornadoes that developed and crossed into the state.  Indiana tornadoes by (E)F scale. The Fujita scale was used from 1974-2006. (F-ratings were estimated before 1974). The Enhanced Fujita scale has been used since 2007.
