      TIPPECANOE AND CARROLL COUNTIES.

02. 1936  AT INDIANAPOLIS...THE RECORD PRECIPITATION AMOUNT
      FOR THE DATE IS SET AT 3.86 INCHES.

03. 1966  AT INDIANAPOLIS...THE RECORD SNOW DEPTH FOR THE
      DATE IS SET AT 8 INCHES.

04. 1886  AT INDIANAPOLIS...THE RECORD SNOWFALL FOR THE DATE
      IS SET AT 4.4 INCHES.

05. 1991  AT INDIANAPOLIS...THE RECORD LOW TEMPERATURE FOR 
      THE DATE IS SET AT 15 DEGREES.

06. 2005  A LARGE AND DAMAGING SQUALL LINE MOVED THROUGH CENTRAL
      INDIANA IN THE EARLY MORNING HOURS. WIDESPREAD WIND DAMAGE
      OCCURRED THROUGHOUT CENTRAL INDIANA...INCLUDING SEVERAL 
      REPORTS OF DOWNED TREES AND POWER LINES.

07. 1996  AT INDIANAPOLIS...THE RECORD PRECIPITATION AMOUNT FOR
      THE DATE IS SET AT 3.51 INCHES.

08. 1999  AT INDIANAPOLIS...THE RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURE FOR THE 
      DATE IS SET AT 76 DEGREES. 

09. 1921  AT INDIANAPOLIS...THE RECORD SNOWFALL FOR THE DATE IS
      SET AT 3.8 INCHES.

10. 1975  TERRE HAUTE...A TORNADO BREAKS PLATE GLASS WINDOWS OF 
      SEVERAL STORES AND DAMAGES SEVERAL MOBILE HOMES.

11. 1911  BEDFORD...A TORNADO HIT THE NORTH SIDE OF TOWN AT 11 PM ON
      11/11/11. THE WORST DAMAGE WAS CONCENTRATED AT THE BEDFORD FOUNDRY
      AND MACHINE COMPANY.

12. 1992  HEAVY RAINS CAUSED FLOODING IN CLINTON.

13. 1997  A WINTER STORM BROUGHT 4 TO 6 INCH SNOWFALLS IN A 50
       MILE WIDE SWATH CENTERED ON INTERSTATE 70 BETWEEN 
       TERRE HAUTE AND INDIANAPOLIS ON THE 13TH INTO THE 14TH.

14. 1993  OVERNIGHT FLASH FLOODING OCCURRED IN THE CENTRAL AND
      SOUTH WITH UP TO 9 INCHES OF RAINFALL MEASURED.

15. 2005  WASHINGTON...AN F3 TORNADO TRAVELED ON THE GROUND FOR 12
      MILES AND WAS UP TO 1/4 MILE WIDE AT TIMES.

16. 1987  STRONG NON-THUNDERSTORM WINDS UP TO 60-65 MPH DOWN
      SOME TREES AND CAUSE POWER OUTAGES TO PARTS OF CENTRAL
      INDIANA.

17. 1993  AROUND 2 INCHES OF RAIN ON NOVEMBER 16 AND 17 ALLOWS
      THE FLASH FLOODING OF NOVEMBER 14 1993 TO TURN INTO WIDESPREAD
      MAJOR FLOODING ACROSS CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN INDIANA DURING THE
      THIRD WEEK OF NOVEMBER.

18. 1880  AT INDIANAPOLIS...THE RECORD LOW TEMPERATURE FOR THE DATE
      IS SET AT 5 DEGREES.

19. 1880  INDIANAPOLIS...THE LOW TEMPERATURE DROPPED TO -3.  THIS
      MARKED THE EARLIEST WINTER DATE IN CITY RECORDS FOR THE
      TEMPERATURE TO DROP BELOW ZERO.

20. 1983  WINDS UP TO 65 MPH CAUSE EXTENSIVE DAMAGE TO THE 
      TIPPECANOE MALL IN LAFAYETTE.

21. 1883  AT INDIANAPOLIS...THE RECORD PRECIPITATION AMOUNT FOR
      THE DATE IS SET AT 3.71 INCHES.

22. 1992  THE LARGEST NOVEMBER TORNADO OUTBREAK IN STATE HISTORY
      PRODUCED 14 TORNADOES...INCLUDING ONE WHICH WAS ON THE
      GROUND FOR 12 MILES.

23. 1938  AT INDIANAPOLIS...THE RECORD SNOWFALL FOR THE DATE IS
      SET AT 4.0 INCHES.

24. 1950  SUBZERO TEMPERATURES ARE RECORDED OVER MUCH OF THE STATE.

25. 1908  AT INDIANAPOLIS...THE RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURE FOR THE DATE
      IS SET AT 69 DEGREES.

26. 1965  GREENSBURG...A TORNADO DESTROYS NUMEROUS FARM BUILDINGS
      AND DAMAGES MANY HOMES.

27. 1930  AT INDIANAPOLIS...THE RECORD LOW TEMPERATURE FOR THE DATE 
      IS SET AT 1 DEGREE.

28. 1958  AT INDIANAPOLIS...THE RECORD SNOWFALL FOR THE DATE IS SET
      AT 4.6 INCHES.

29. 1909  INDIANAPOLIS...A HIGH TEMPERATURE OF 74 DEGREES BECOMES THE 
      WARMEST TEMPERATURE ON RECORD FOR THANKSGIVING FOR THE CITY.

30. 1991  DANVILLE...EARLY MORNING THUNDERSTORMS BROUGHT A REPORTED
      WIND GUST OF 100 MPH.
