Record streak for most consecutive days without measurable snow ends at South Bend

Through 7 pm EST on December 10th, South Bend has received 0.3" of snow for the day. This ends the record-breaking streak of consecutive days without measurable snowfall from March 5th to December 9th, 2012 at 279 days. This broke the previous record of 272 days set in 1948. Fort Wayne has already received 0.6" of snow this year and therefore the Fort Wayne data is only present for reference.
