The map below shows a map of the maximum snowfall recorded for a single snowfall season (October-May) at each observing station from the period of 1950 to present. The highest seasonal total was 172.0" recorded at the South Bend Airport from October 1977 to May 1978. The lowest seasonal total was 29.4" recorded at the Monticello, IN COOP station from October 1990 to May 1991.
