Submitting a Storm Report

In an effort to help direct incoming questions, concerns or comments, we are providing the following
guidance to our web site viewers.

     1) If you are a trained spotter (Winter, Convective or both) looking to submit a storm report, please go to
the  E-Spotter home page that was provided at the training session.

     2) If you are not a trained spotter and are trying to contact us, you can do the following:
            a. To report significant weather information, relay the information to your local law enforcement
agency (typically 911) and ask them to pass it on to the National Weather Service
            b. If you are interested in becoming a spotter, click one of the following links to go to one of our
                Spotter program pages.    Convective/Skywarn      Snow/Winter

            c. Send an email to Iwx.Skywarn@noaa.gov or call us during normal business hours at 574-834-
1104. It should be noted that this email account is not constantly monitored so a timely response
to your email may not be possible.
