1912 -- Weather reports from ships at sea began to be received by the Weather Bureau (today, the National Weather Service) on a regular basis.

1923 -- Albion and Angola dropped to 10°, and Plymouth fell to 12°.

1960 -- The first weather satellite, TIROS I, was launched.

1998 -- Thunderstorm winds blew over two semi trucks in Marshall County...one on Route 30 and the other on Route 31. Trees and power lines were blown down across much of the area.
