1873 -- Significant flooding in northeast Indiana washed out several railroad bridges.

1978 -- A small tornado unroofed a furniture store and tore apart a home in Fort Wayne.

1999 -- 1.5" diameter hail accumulated to several inches and damaged cars and homes in LaPorte. Golf ball sized hail fell on Winamac, Rochester, Ligonier (Noble County), and Fort Wayne. Numerous trees were blown down along IN 8 east of Albion, and a mobile home was destroyed.

2001 -- 1.75" diameter hail fell in Ligonier and Rome City (Noble County).
