1975 -- Snow piled up to as much as 8 inches in northern Indiana, and was accompanied by freezing rain.

1992 -- A half foot of lake effect snow fell on Starke, Saint Joseph Indiana, and LaPorte counties.

2006 -- Signifigant weather event invloving IA, AR, MO, IL, IN, KY, TN produced a tornado in Parke County... As the line of storms went through Indiana it turned into a Bowecho producing up to 2" and winds of 70 mph...damaging houses, and downing powerlines and trees.
