1962 -- A tornado skipped across northern Elkhart County, hitting Bristol.

1997 -- Severe storms brought 75 mph winds to Elkhart, Indiana and 67 mph winds to Constantine, Michigan. Trees and power lines were blown down around Cassopolis.

2003 -- 63mph thunderstorm winds blew a grain bin down four miles east of Leesburg (Kosciusko County). Hail one inch in diameter fell at the NWS office one mile north of North Webster (Kosciusko County) and in Waterloo (DeKalb County). Hail 1.75" in diameter was reported in Union City (Branch County).
